It's True About the Dentist

I had an appointment with the dentist today,
Had really hoped the pain to have gone away.
Nervously sat waiting for that time to come,
For that giant big needle straight into my gums.
Dreading the needles, the drills and the thought,
Of my teeth not being thirty but left with nought!
After awhile and the dentist is done,
I'm back in the bakery buying sugary buns.
